SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS
are admitted for review only
when prepared in the “LAAR camera ready
using Word or Latex templates that can be
downloaded here. Authors
should take special care to format their manuscripts.
Manuscripts submitted without the right format will be
returned to the authors until they are prepared following
the LAAR guidelines.
2. Figures should be made exclusively by the authors for the
manuscript or obtained with permission of the source, be it
a magazine, a book or any other type of source. It is also
required to explicitly acknowledge to the source in the
caption of the figure.
3. A single PDF file of the manuscripts should be directed to the
Editor-in-Chief at the only address
with the manuscript, authors should supply a list of
at least 5 reviewers, with their corresponding
affiliations and e-mail addresses.
are encouraged to submit camera ready manuscripts of up to
10, 6 and 4 pages for Review
Papers, Articles and Notes respectively.
EDITORIAL AND REVIEW PROCESS
a manuscript is accepted for review by the Editor-in-Chief,
an identification code and a subject editor is assigned to
the manuscript, and the authors are notified accordingly.
Subject Editor is in charge of the entire review process.
Therefore, any inquiry about the status of the manuscript
should be directed to him. Besides the Subject Editor's own
opinion, each manuscript is submitted to the evaluation of
two peer reviewers.
a final decision is taken by the Subject Editor and in case
the paper is accepted the authors should submit to him the
final version in the source file format (Word or Latex). The
Subject Editor submits the accepted version of the
manuscript to the Editorial Office for style review. Then
the authors receive a galley proof for final acceptance.
style review is completed, manuscripts are incorporated in
the journal web page as “accepted papers”, waiting
for the printing queue.
