Latex Sample

Contributors who use LATEX or TEX should provide the manuscript in *.pdf and in *.htm. Here there are simple instructions to generate the HTML versions.

Generation of HTML for Tex-related users

There exist several options for users of TEX, LATEX, MiKTEX, Scientific Word and other TEXbased processors to generate an HTML version of a paper to be published in Latin American Applied Research.

The Comprehensive TEX Archive Network (CTAN http://www.ctan.org/) provides a free, general, up-to-date source of TEX-related software packages. Among them, there are some for converting TEX or LATEX source to HTML files.

A suggested package is TeX4ht (home page http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~gurari/TeX4ht/). Installation instructions are found in:

http://facweb.arch.ohio-state.edu/pviton/support/tex4ht.html for MiKTEX users.

http://facweb.arch.ohio-state.edu/pviton/support/swpht.html for Scientific Word users.

As explained in the above directions, the package requires installing an image converter like ImageMagick which can be obtained from http://www.imagemagick.org/
